As the upcoming year approaches I can’t help but reflect back on 2016 and how amazing it was. It was most definitely the best year of my life. I am so grateful for everything that has happened and am really wanting 2017 to follow suit. I have set some New Year’s Resolutions or goals that I hope to accomplish this year, both personally and with my blog. Here are some of my personal goals.
- Pack healthy lunches everyday. In the last year I have really become diligent in taking my lunch to work everyday, but this year I want to make sure the food I pack is something I look forward to eating while being healthy. I also want to cook well-rounded meals for dinner.
- I want to do small manageable loads of laundry weekly instead of waiting until I have a mountain of clothes to wash. I started working on this a few months ago and it really makes my laundry time go by quicker. This is a menial goal, but I have found that it really helps me start my week off easier.
- Make exercise and rest a priority. To be honest, after Nick and I got engaged working out has kind of slipped through the cracks compared to how active I was before. Granted, I did get engaged, buy a house, and buy a wedding dress within a month and I still work out. I want to make sure I am going to Pure Barre at least four times a week. By making rest a priority, I mean getting time for me, and for Nick and me together. We are always pulled in every direction and it is necessary to have a break every once in a while.
- Most importantly, I want to have patience and make the best out of every situation. These are easier said than done, but I am definitely going to work hard on these two.
As for my blogging goals, I want to post more consistently, work on my writing quality, and picture quality. I do have more specific goals set, but for now I will leave you with those.
