I had my first bridal shower a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely amazing! It was in San Antonio and was hosted by some family members and a few friends. In total, there were seven hostesses. Talk about love!
I knew it was going to be awesome when I received my invitation. The envelope had a watercolor background with my name and address in the white space. The invitation was gorgeous, it had pink and flowers. Two of my favorite things! I really loved that they included a recipe card for each guest to fill out and bring to the shower. I now have quite a few new recipes that I cannot wait to try.
When I arrived at the shower I couldn’t believe my eyes, it was beautiful! The prettiest shower I have ever seen! My awesome hostesses completely went above and beyond. There was a huge spread of food to eat and a delicious cake.
Check it out! Not only was it pretty, it was tasty too. The coolest part about it, is that they took an invitation to the bakery and asked them to match it. Y’all, I am telling you, it looked EXACTLY like the invitation.
Another unique thing was that there was a photo backdrop and Polaroid camera. I took a picture with each guest and they made a scrapbook page. When the shower was over I had a new and full scrapbook. I thought it was such a cool and clever idea! Get this…my cousin, Hannah, made the backdrop (flowers and all), the envelope decorations, and the lettering on the bridal shower sign by hand. She is so talented.

My shower was incredible! I felt so special and loved the whole day. It was more than I could have ever dreamed of and I am so thankful Nick and I have such caring and generous people in our lives.
