Happy June, everyone! I am so excited that the Summer months are here. May was a total whirlwind, and I couldn’t be happier to have some downtime and reflect on the last month. Today’s outfit is a variation of what I wear all Summer long. Tank top, shorts, sandals, shades, and a crossbody bag. Seriously, this is what I love.
Internship season is upon us and I want to give you a few tips to help make the most of your time with a company!
As you know, I was recently given a bridal shower in San Antonio. I was also given one in Houston this past weekend. In total, there were 12 hostesses between the celebrations. Giving your hostesses a small gift after the event is a nice way to show your appreciation. They put a lot of hard work and effort into making your shower beautiful and it shows them that you recognize that.
Purchasing a gift for 12 people can also become pricey. I found the cutest acrylic note holders (similar, similar), and decided to customize them using my Cricut Explore Air 2 (similar). I saw these and thought it would be something that I would love to receive as a gift, so I went with it.
I think they turned out super cute and were well received by everyone! The best part is that they did not blow my budget. What are some affordable hostess gifts you have seen before? Let me know in the comments below!
I know I’ve been a little M.I.A. on my blog lately so let’s play catch up, shall we? It seems like I have been going a mile a minute this year, and for good reason. Our wedding is quickly approaching and between work, wedding planning, my blog-ternship, and social life, I have been non-stop. My typical week has had every minute scheduled, and if I don’t accomplish something, something else definitely suffers the next week (like laundry). I seriously wouldn’t doubt if I’ve put over 5,000 miles on my car in about a month. Although I have been busy, it has all been fun and I would not change a thing! I have missed blogging though. After taking a much-needed break I am back at it.
My friend, and fellow blogger, Silvia from Lovely Silvia recently hosted a Galentine’s Day Brunch. It was so cute and I had a blast! I got to know Silvia better and had the chance to meet another amazing blogger named Ressa. Ressa blogs at Ressamazing! It was fun to have a girly brunch and celebrate each other as bloggers.
